Honda SH125i vs RKS RZ125

The Honda SH125i (2025) and the RKS RZ125 (2026) are compared with the same Moto Kıyas physics model under identical conditions: flat dry asphalt, no wind, a 75 kg rider and no passenger. The Honda SH125i is a scooter with 125 cc, 12.9 hp and 138 kg; the RKS RZ125 is a sport bike with 125 cc, 14.5 hp and unlisted weight. Power-to-weight with the rider: 60.4 hp/ton versus 63.8 hp/ton. On this measure the RKS RZ125 is 6% ahead.

In the simulation the Honda SH125i covers 0-100 km/h (speedometer) in 19.13 s and the RKS RZ125 in 13.42 s; the RKS RZ125 is quicker by 5.72 s. In the 60-0 km/h brake test, braking distance without the 0.3 s reaction time is 16.3 m for the Honda SH125i (with ABS) and 13.1 m for the RKS RZ125 (with ABS). The RKS RZ125 stops 3.2 m shorter. The standard 60-0 test is used because one calculated top speed is below 110 km/h. Calculated top speed: 97 km/h (manufacturer claim) versus 125 km/h (estimated from power and drag).
